John Miles offers to help

Today was a huge day. I worked from 7am until 2am the following morning. I tried ringing Jeff at 8am but he wasn’t home. He rang me several hours later and said that Laura had watched the footage and couldn’t say for 100% certain that it was him. Equally she didn’t say that it wasn’t him. So we are still I the dark.

I met John Miles at Norwood police station and he was very pleasant and friendly. He recalled the phone call he’d had with van der Mescht last year and was very puzzled as to why he was denying it. He offered to call him and talk to him, and also offered to help me with the case. I am to tell Andre this.
