We arrived at the courthouse in Randburg, Alexandra. It was fine. Only one woman was there, but she told us that others were coming. Gradually they began to arrive until by 10am there were almost 50 people there to form a silent vigil and hold up placards of protest. Glory arrived and began getting signatures for her petition.

Everywhere the camera pointed, women were shouting at the tops of their voices. It was the most extraordinary footage.
