The hospital continues to amaze me – but I think I have figured out its system and am learning to play with it. I am still trying to get all of Laura’s medical records so we can go and see this new specialist Ruth recommended. I had the feeling that my stern, firm but non-offensive tone had an impact and that I have put the wind into the doctor’s sails – he said I should ring him on Thursday morning.
