My family agreed it is pointless to purse the police investigation, and advised me to just drop it. Except Michael. In a typical reaction for him, he just wants to find the guy himself and beat him up. Interestingly the therapist we have been seeing supports this reaction – she says it is justified and in some cases is the only thing to do!
